What better day to start to “love” your customers than today?
According to www.dictionary.com the 9th definition listed for the word “love” states the following:
“Affectionate concern for the well-being of others”
If you’re not concerned about the well being of your customers than you may soon have a problem with your own well being. In sales, customers are the life blood of your business. Basically, they pay your bills so you better love them, that is, if you don’t already.
You could even show some love to former clients with the possibilities of getting them back, because as they say . . . love conquers all.
Here’s a few ways to show love to your client base:
- Send them an email
- Send them an e-greeting
- Send them a postcard or greeting card, yes, I mean actually through the mail.
- Call them to thank them for their business, and while you’re at it, ask them for referrals.
The phone call is the most beneficial because it reminds the customer how much they trusted you, how you came through for them and that you are still there after the sale. And it reminds you of a job well done. Speaking with your customers gives you a high, a shot of energy and that energy can be brought into a meeting or call with a new potential customer. You’ll be that much more confident after speaking to a client who “loves” you!
