Stuck in the Middle (A quickie about goals)

Each July 2nd at noon marks the middle of the year. We’re halfway there, dead center!

And it’s time for a check up.

Are you on pace to reach your goals?

If you don ‘t have goals, get started on them right now because it’s not how you start it’s how you finish. And you can make up for the first six months by choosing the target, taking aim and firing!

There’s plenty of time to make a difference, so make this year count.

Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal. ~ Pamela Vaull Starr

If you do have goals then it’s time to evaluate your progress. If you’re ahead of pace, that’s great, and maybe it’s a sign that you set your goal too low.  If you’re behind, figure out if you can catch up or if you need to shift your goals further out. Check to see if anything less important might be holding you back or is interfering with successfully reaching the overall goal.

This is your life and your career!

Whether it’s losing weight, writing a book or earning more money than you ever have before, be confident that if you set the goal, plan the steps to achieve it set a deadline then all you have to is, go for it!

Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination. ~ Fitzhugh Dodson
