Guy Laliberté began his career on the streets. He could be seen playing accordion, walking on stilts and eating fire. If you live in a city like mine, New York City, then you might see these types of acts everywhere. Why is this one different?
Guy, even though he was often on stilts took a leap of faith by bringing a performing troupe from Quebec to the Los Angeles for the Arts Festival. He did this without having a return flight, which reminds me of this blog.
As you may guess, his risk taking paid off, and the circus group was eventually brought to Las Vegas, where they became the now world famous Cirque du Soleil. Today, Laliberté is the CEO and worth over 2.5 billion dollars.
